Back that Ass Up

May 20, 2015
Today I returned to work with Ringo again. I’d seen him 2 weeks ago. He was the four year old quarter horse who had swollen withers (from his wings!). If you haven’t read that blog, you can. It is called Ringo Star and Lady Di.
Many times before I go for an animal communication session, I am given instructions on how I am to prepare prior to the visit. Ringo told me this morning to refrain from eating animal products, especially meat. I had an apple for breakfast, a green smoothie for lunch and sorry to say, sweet potato fries on the way because I was pretty hungry by then. I felt very light and clearheaded on the way to Ringo’s home. Strangely enough, I don’t usually drink coffee after my morning two cups, I bought a coffee to drink on the drive.
Ringo told me that he wanted his session in the barn today. Too windy he said. Then he told me what it sounded like for horses in the wind. He made a whoosh whoosh sound and explained that when it was windy, horses can’t hear a thing. That’s why they don’t like being ridden in the wind. Their sensitive hearing is messed up.
We began our session in the barn. Ringo wanted his owner Diane in the stall during the session. When we started our session he wanted her to work on his left back side but then said after a few minutes, he wanted her to stop and just enjoy herself.
I always go where I feel my hands are guided and my body is. I worked on his right back side, then his left. I concentrated on both withers and when I was done, I stood in the stall. Ringo literally backed his ass up to the wall where his bucket was while Diane and I were talking. Then he changed his position and backed his ass up right into my space and my hands. I was reluctant to stand behind him because as soon as backed up right into my space, he showed me an image of kicking the crap out of whatever was behind him. I kind of moved out of his butt space but he just backed his ass right back into me and my hands. He was so close it was kind of funny. I placed my hands on both sides of his butt where the cheeks were the most round and felt the heat in my hands. He obviously had a lot to release because even after I removed my hands, he just backed his ass up again into my hands. His body looked swollen to me. He said that it was really stiff and sore from all this stuff he was processing.
This second time I worked with Ringo, his energy was entirely different. The first time I worked with him outside on the grass, he was very fidgety, could not stand still and was continuously moving. This time he was leading the healing by the end of today’s session. He just wanted to get rid of what energy he felt was stuck in his back end.
On my drive to Diane and Ringo’s, Ringo was showing me (in my third eye) a black and white diagram of the area I was to work on. The diagram showed me a broken line that went from the beginning of his butt where it joined his back and right down to the beginning of his tail. Then on each buttock, he had solid lines drawn. This is difficult to explain because while I can see it in my mind, it is not something I have seen before. I am no stranger to line drawings because I used to be a junior high and high school visual arts teacher. It is very interesting that Ringo drew me a line drawing in my mind to show me his problem area. He was truly leading this healing session. He added that his back end was sore from all those times he’d taken off for flight when he had wings. It was from pushing off he said.
After our session with Ringo ended, he told me to come back later. I was to enjoy my coffee now. So Diane and I sat down in her barn. I drank the rest of my coffee and told her how unusual it was for me to have a cup of coffee in the afternoon.
Billy, the small cranky dog her husband had asked me to talk to, joined her. Diane told me how Billy did not like children and was a grumpy dog even though he was quite young. He did however, like to share a cup of coffee with her husband in the morning. This is where my desire for a cup of coffee came from. This grumpy dog! While Billy lay on Diane’s lap I sent him Reiki. While I did this Billy explained that he is like a cranky old man stuck in a young dog’s body. He does not like being so cranky and would like to change. Reiki or any form of energy work help this shift because the animal is willing and asked for it. Healings are most successful when animals or people are tired of the old ways, the aches and pains and just want the dysfunction gone.
With Billy’s healing done, I went back into Ringo’s stall, did a few things and when he told me he was done, I left. Animals sometimes do this to test me just to see if I am listening. One thing I will say is that Ringo’s advice to be animal product free today really tuned me into his extremely intense sensitive energy.
One more thing, and this one is crazy. Diane asked where her bottle of essential oil that she uses for healing went. She’d left it in an attached tray outside of Ringo’s stall. I ate it he said. Then he showed me an image of how he’d taken the bottle, broke it in his teeth and ground up the bottle. Well, that was different! He repeated more than once that he’d eaten the bottle. Since Diane could not find the bottle anywhere I will have to say that Ringo did indeed eat it. Now that is one strange boy!
