Zuul and Lisa

June 29, 2016
Today I had the pleasure of helping Lisa speak with Zuul. Zuul is a rescue dog. Lisa wanted to know how he felt and what he had to say.
Before I begin a text session with a client I always meditate to connect with the pet who will be talking. When I sat down to connect with Zuul he was very easy to connect with. He was quite particular however. He told me to ask his permission if I sent him distance healing. I did as he asked and he let the healing begin.
When Lisa sent me the picture of Zuul earlier today as soon as I saw it, I thought, awwww what a sweetheart. He looked so kind. When I began to send him healing he absorbed it like a sponge.
About an hour before I began the session with Zuul and Lisa, I heard Zuul say that this was not the first life he’s had with Lisa. They’d been together before. In one of my previous blog posts I discussed how animals we have had before find us again. They have an invisible string that is attached to the person they want to be with. So when the human is in the presence of that animal, the human feels as though the animal belongs with them. These bonds are so strong that they occur throughout different lives.
In the beginning when I connected with Zuul he showed me an image in my mind’s eye of someone holding his muzzle. Then he communicated that at the last place he was, someone used to hold his muzzle shut and thought it was funny. It made Zuul feel annoyed and embarrassed. Lisa responded by saying that she wanted Zuul to know that he is loved in his new home with her and no harm will come to him. Zuul was relieved but he already knew this about his new life with Lisa. Still though, he liked to hear her words.
Zuul shared that he loved soft things like the couch and beds. He enjoyed the food that Lisa gave him. He said it was really good food. Like many rescue dogs I have communicated for, he felt that her home was too good to be true. He asked that Lisa be patient. He needed time to adjust to his new home and to understand that he was safe and that he was staying.
Lisa mentioned that Zuul has such sadness in his eyes. She added that Zuul was by himself for a while and she was wondering if he carried that pain. Zuul responded by saying that no one wanted him. It made him really sad to see other dogs leave where he was and he stayed behind. Then he said he wanted Lisa to rub his chest right under his neck. He finds that very soothing and reassuring. He said it felt awful to be left behind but now that he was with Lisa, he said he understood why he was left. He had to wait for her. Now that he was with her, everything was okay.
Near the end of the session, Zuul said that he felt lighter. I offered more distance healing after the text session but Zuul said no, he was okay.
Zuul was a sweetheart. He was one lucky dog. He had his forever home with Lisa!
