Don't Come any Closer!

July 27, 2017
Yesterday I had the pleasure of talking with Desi, an appaloosa paint mare so her human could understand why Desi would not let Jennifer come near her. When Jennifer had phoned me to set up Desi’s appointment, she explained that Desi had been okay until one day, when they were out for a ride a moose had come out of the bushes. After that incident Desi had changed drastically. Jennifer knew it had something to do with this. She did not understand why Desi was so different now. Jennifer wanted to know why this beautiful mare Jennifer felt so attached to would not let Jennifer come near.
As soon as I began to travel to Desi and Jennifer’s home, I heard Desi instruct me to put some music on to help Desi get in the right mind set for her communication session. She chose a track that has calming music that has chanting, and toning. I could feel her energy calming down as I drove closer to their home.
Jennifer greeted me at the gate. We walked toward the pasture where Desi was. She was with her pasture mate, a gelding. As we drew near the pasture Desi ran closer settled in the shade under a tree. I heard her say, “Don’t come any closer,” so we stayed where we were after we’d crossed the fence to enter the pasture. I held my left hand out with the palm facing Desi. I explained to Jennifer that I could feel her energy from where we were standing. I also explained that Desi told me not to come any closer. So we didn’t. We stood there, I sent Reiki to Desi from a distance. I could feel Desi’s energy. It is hard to put into words to explain how Desi’s energy felt. It’s probably best to say it felt like pressure and an ache in the palm of my left hand. After a few minutes, I heard from Desi that Jennifer and I could move two steps closer so we did. After a few more minutes of talking, Desi revealed why she had been so scared when that moose came out of the bushes. All she’d seen was a black shape. It scared her so much because she had a memory of a black bear in a different life she’d had with Jennifer. In that life, Jennifer had been a native woman. She’d been riding Desi and a bear had appeared. The bear attacked Desi on the rump, took Desi down and started eating her. In that life, Jennifer knew that if she stayed, the bear would kill her too. It was too late to save Desi (in that life) so she ran to save her life. She felt so guilty about leaving her horse to die in such a horrible way, that she ended up taking her life.
In this life, when Jennifer met Desi she was so drawn to that horse, she knew she had to have her. In this life, Jennifer could make it right again. She would not leave Desi to die. You see in this current life, Desi was abused in the home when Jennifer first saw Desi. Jennifer knew that she had to buy Desi to help this beautiful horse. She felt it in her heart. Jennifer shared that when she first saw Desi she felt so awful. This beautiful mare was so thin. She bought Desi and brought her home. Desi put on weight but was slow to trust because her previous owner had treated her so badly. At one time during this communication session, Desi showed me (in my mind’s eye) how badly the previous owner had treated her. She explained that was why she had such a hard time trusting humans. Desi added when she met Jennifer again, in this life, and when the moose came out of the bushes, Desi thought she would meet the same fate she had the last life she’d been with Desi. She thought she would die in a horrible way and that her owner again, would abandon her while she was dying.
During the session Jennifer and I continued to advance, two steps at a time, stopping each time, until I heard from Desi that we could take two more steps closer. Finally when we were close enough we worked on releasing the fear that Desi held in her heart. Desi closed the session by telling me she’d had enough. She didn’t leave the space during her session. She stayed close to us and to her gelding friend who she trusted and loved very much. Desi showed that she was interesting in healing this aspect of her life. She was ready to let it go. Since the incident with the moose Jennifer had not been able to get near Desi. Yesterday afternoon, Desi touched Jennifer’s outstretched hand. I explained to Jennifer that after this session where I’d sent Desi healing, it would take a few days for that healing energy through Desi. I explained that Desi still had trust issues and did not want Jennifer to invade her space. But if Jennifer allowed Desi to choose to come into Jennifer’s space, she would like that very much.
Last night Jennifer phoned me to share that Desi had been calmer that evening. Desi had even eaten her treats out of a bucket that she had never done before. I was SO grateful that Jennifer could already see a change in this mare that she loved so much.
