Angel - Correction |

February 7, 2016
A couple days ago I wrote about Angel (see Angel Part 1 below). In that blog I stated that Angel was from Mexico but I was wrong. Angel came from Rosebud, Alberta (yes right in this very province) and Angel’s sister Tia came from Mexico. Angel’s mom Penny contacted me concerning this error so I asked her if she would like to add more to the correction part of my blog so here is what she had to say:
Thank you for writing about Angel. She loves her name and her brother Lucky who is a Shih Tzu comforts her. They bonded from day one. The next hurdle for Angel is to get relief from her trachea problem through medication and or possible surgery. She loves that I adopted her and feels like she is on vacation and never wants it to end.
I forgot when I wrote the first blog on Angel that Angel had shared that she had a few places out on where her neck met her back. Penny’s friend Patti who had joined for the session said she knew exactly where she needed to put her fingers on Angel’s back to help her release the pain and the stuck energy.
Angel was choked about what had happened to her hence the problem in her trachea. Hopefully the chi ball I made for her during her session will help her process the stuck energy in her trachea. I do often check in with animals after a reading to see how they are doing, and I just heard Angel say, “I’d like that.” So when I do my evening or morning meditation I can ask who wants a healing or who wants to talk to me. Then they join in and they can talk with me. And Angel, if she likes can have another session just for her along with anyone else who cares to join in.
Life is definitely much more interesting when you get to talk with the animals and convey to the owners what these creatures have to tell their owners. I thank you all for reading this blog and for being my clients. Thank you so much!
Angel - Part 1

I get all kinds of requests from pets for their owners. This request from a reading I did on Saturday at the Edmonton Pet Expo was different. Angel, the dog in today’s blog asked me to write about her. She had a story to tell. Angel wanted all of you to read it, and share it so people would understand from a dog’s point of view how devastating it is to live a life like she did (until Penny rescued her).
I will start at the beginning. On Saturday people started showing up for pet readings at the Edmonton Pet Expo. I was ready! I did not expect this request from Angel, Penny’s dog. Penny explained that she rescued Angel. Angel came from a puppy mill down in Mexico. When Penny showed me some of Angel’s pictures, Angel looked really mad. She had a reason to be. Angel shared the information that she was about six or seven years old but felt about ten or eleven. She’d had fifteen litters of puppies. She was worn out and felt really old. She was exhausted. She was so grateful that she lived with Penny but she was holding on to the past. She was angry that she’d been used like that. And she was also angry that people treated her like a machine. Nothing good can come from that she said. She wanted me to write about it, to have people read it and share this blog so that more people would understand how awful and devastating it is for a dog to live like that. She added the people who bred her over and over again showed no conscious effort, no compassion, no feeling for the animals that produced so many puppies. And what were even worse, people kept them in business by buying all of these puppies. Many of her puppies never made it. They died and the people just threw them out in a big pile.
Angel was so angry that during this twenty-minute session I made a chi ball and sent the healing energy to her so that this angry stuck energy would dissolve. Angel was on medication for her breathing. I explained to Penny that when we have problems with our lungs, we are grieving. Angel was grieving for all of her puppies that died. As Angel accepted the healing from the chi ball, I saw white round balls of light surround Angel. Angel’s puppies had joined her. And there were a lot of balls of light. Angel had received healing and closure about the awful condition where she came from. Angel also understood that now she could let that part of her life go. She did not need to hang on to the memories from her past.
Angel wants to be the spokesperson for making people understand how awful these operations are. She wants to help shut down puppy mills. She said the conditions of places like where she came from need to stop. The people who are responsible for puppy mils need to stop doing what they are doing. And how do we stop them? By refusing to buy puppies from places like these. And of course to ensure that these people are put out of business, shut down and made accountable for how they treat living beings. People need to understand everything and everyone has feelings. Plants, animals, land, and of course people all have feelings. Everything has energy and everything needs to be loved and honoured. In this case Angel is clearly loved and honored now. Angel suffered conditions that no one should ever have to suffer. Sadly she is not the only one that has experienced this. I hope that you take the time to share this blog with others. I hope you realize that things must change with organizations like the one Angel came from. And I really hope that we can help make changes so these organizations no longer exist.
