Ciarra & Rory |

This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting with Ciara and Rory for a pet reading. Sometimes at the beginning of a session I ask how the human found me for the pet reading session. This time I had a very interesting explanation of how they had found me before the session.
Ciara likes to take Rory for walks. One day during their walk, Rory went to an area with bushes and started digging at the bushes. Ciara wanted to know what he was digging at so she moved into the bush area. Rory had dug up my business card! This canine had decided he needed to talk to Ciara and he created (with the help of Spirit) the session. I laughed because you can’t even make this stuff up! Just before this discovery of my business card, Ciara had been thinking of having a communication session with Rory but didn’t know of any animal communicators. Spirit had a way for her to talk with me. I love stories like this.
At the beginning of the session I easily tuned in with Rory’s energy. He was a very balanced dog. If you could see a picture of how he was balanced, it would look like a perfectly balanced yin and yang symbol. He had the exact amount of dark and light, masculine and feminine or yin and yang energy. He explained that he knew he was a male dog. He loved how he looked. He was very sensitive and in tune with his environment. He was very happy to be a dog and most of all; he had evolved and functioned as a highly intuitive canine companion.
Ciara had some questions for Rory. Her most important question was why did Rory sometimes take off in the ravine where they walked? Why did it happen sometimes and other times not at all, and most important, how could she help Rory have control? Rory answered that the ravine had a lot of smells, dead ones especially and when he got a sniff of something really strong (and dead and disgusting) he couldn’t control himself. The solution he said was to keep him on leash while they were in that area, until he was able to control and trust himself to stay by his human’s side. He wanted her to be the leader in this area. He was not to be trusted to be on his own here. Ciara shared that when her husband walked Rory he did not let Rory off leash when they were in the ravine. Her husband kept Rory in control and by his side. Rory piped up, that’s what he wanted Ciara to do, keep him right beside her in this area of temptation. He said please don’t use a choke collar. He did not like the aggressive nature of it. It hurt. A harness would be okay he added.
What about Dobermans Ciara asked? Why does he act so aggressive when he sees a Doberman? Immediately I saw in my mind’s eye Rory had in one of his lives been a Doberman. He had been an attack dog trained to defend an area. He was trained to attack and kill. This attack mentality stayed with him especially when he saw that breed. He did not like that about himself and was grateful that in this session he was able to share this with Ciara. Many times when an issue like this comes to light during a session, that helps the pet release that past life memory. The dog realizes that life has passed and no longer exists, only in his memory. As we discussed this I felt that Ciara had seen an image like I had of Rory when he’d been a Doberman. Did you get an image of a Doberman in your third eye like I did I asked her? I felt she was very intuitive and had seen an image similar to the one I had. Yes she responded. She did. I added that after my second level of Reiki I became very telepathic. After I completed my second level of Reiki twenty years ago, I could hear thoughts of others. It was quite the astounding discovery and took me awhile to grasp what was actually happening.
At the beginning of the session Rory chose to lie outside of the area where Ciara and I sat. Halfway through the session he joined us. Ciara shared that she had just taken her Reiki 1 level and after that Rory did not want to be around her. However after her level 2 Reiki class, Rory changed his behavior. He wanted to be around her. Why was that she asked? Rory answered he didn’t like the change in her energy after the first level but after her second level where students learn about distant healing, he found her energy easier to be around. Clearly Rory was a very sensitive dog and was really tuned into his human’s energy field.
This wonderful pet reading session really made my day! I am so grateful for all of the clients I have had so far, both two-legged and four-legged ones. Sometimes it takes a highly sensitive and intuitive pet to lead the way so the human can talk to their pet. Rory led the way for Ciara for this session. What a gift!
