Cows are in My Blood |

April 15, 2016
This past week was a rough one for me. My back was extremely sore. I was kind of surprised because I usually do not have back issues. Sometimes if I lift something wrong or my posture is poor when I am at a computer, I suffer. This time though, nothing happened to cause the soreness in my back. It was strange because it started when I was working on my laptop editing a word document. As the day progressed my back was so sore, I found it hard to function. Strange it was. The next day it was even worse. The pain traveled up and down my spine. At one time the pain would be in the lower part of my spine, then it would travel up to between my shoulder blades and rest in my neck. I couldn’t even turn my head. Finally that afternoon, after taking a homeopathic, Arnica Montana, I had a nap. When I woke up almost all of the soreness was gone. It was lingering a bit though. This is so weird I thought to myself. I have NO idea what caused this.
That evening my cell phone was almost dead so I thought I’d shut it off and charge it so it would charge quickly. It seems as though the moment it turned off, everyone wanted to contact me because when I turned it on later that evening; I had quite a few text messages. One very important one was from a former client who is now one of my dearest friends. Her dog was having problems and could I help her? My phone showed that the text had been sent at 1:50 that afternoon but I didn’t get the text until 11:30 that night. Hmm interesting I thought. Someone did not want me to help at that time. After that text had been sent, my friend sent another text that she’d taken Abbie, her border collie to the vet. I sent her a text even though I knew she’d be fast asleep by then. I told her I’d do a meditation in the morning to connect with Abbie to find out what was going on. The vet said it was either arthritis or an injury to the hip. I went to sleep fully intending to meditate to connect with Abbie early in the morning. Well . . . I didn’t even have to try. Thursday morning as I am standing in the bathroom doorway drying my hair, I heard Abbie connect. She told me that the pain I’d been experiencing was hers. She just wanted to share with me the pain she was having. No thank you I told her. I do not want to feel your pain. Next time you have a problem TELL ME. Then I made an announcement to all of the animals I have worked with who connected with me before the owners set up a session. I said listen all of you animals who have shared their pain with me, I no longer will accept your pain as a form of communication. This body and its energy are closed to your pain.
I sat down in my meditation chair to text Abbie’s mom (my friend) and as we began to text back and forth, Abbie joined in. She said that she got injured chasing some cows. She was inside the herd of cows, fell down and got stepped on when she was down on her side. She showed me, in my third eye, an image of what it looked like when she went down. It was very painful for her. I told Abbie that a border collie stays at the back and side of the herd, and does not go inside. You are pushing them around. You’re not supposed to go in the herd. That’s why you got hurt. Oh was all she replied. Then she added that cows are in her blood. I know that to be true because as a reward my friend allows Abbie five minutes of fun in their herd of cows. Abbie loves it and it is fun to see her play with the cows. During our text session Abbie said that while she was in with the cows, she would not divulge whose cows they were. I got the mental image that she was not with her own herd of cows. She was somewhere else. When I texted my friend this information, she immediately knew that Abbie had been somewhere else chasing their cows.
When my friend thanked me for helping her with her dog Abbie, I thanked her as well. You see Abbie taught me a lesson. She taught me that it was not okay for animals to show me and share their pain. Before this I didn’t really mind but this time the pain was so intense and rendered me immobile for a day, I knew that I would not allow this to happen again.
I was very grateful that Abbie felt so much better. She told me so. And I also felt better. She did ask for a chiropractor session or two. She said that she would benefit from it. I sent the text to her owner and now, all is well both at their home and mine.
