Waiting

April 24, 2015
I have a few clients who want to hear what their animals want to say. However their animals are not always ready to talk. Some of their animals kind of talk, a little bit, so I tell them to wait until their animals are really ready to talk, then we can have a visit.
Sometimes the owner really, really, really wants to hear what their animal has to say. I visit. We have a session but at the end of the session I still feel that this animal has more to say. I often offer a follow up session by text, e-mail or phone to end this session.
One horse I visited was a classic case of this I will talk but have more to say. This animal and others feel that they are not ready to really let go and talk. They hold back. I find that these kinds of animals hold on to things like weight, aches and pains and resistant mental attitudes. I had a session with this horse and although it talked calmly it showed a lot of resistance. It was constantly sore and was full of aches and pains. Of course it was resistant to move. It was lame in the front end. It did not want to move mentally or physically.
Some of us know people like this. They sit with their aches and pains resistant to healing. However with a healing session this resistant does leave, sometimes reluctantly because these people (and animals) have identified their aches and pains with who they are. However this is merely a moment in time and will not last forever. I absolutely love how everyone heals at a different rate. Some people and animals move through their healing so quickly, it only takes a day or two to move through something. Others take longer and that is okay. I often think that the really, really deep stuff takes longer to move for the stoic type of personality.
So the horse I am writing about finally, after a few weeks told me that she would like a massage, a boot on her front leg and just wants to heal. She did not talk to me after her session even though in her presence I offered this follow up session with her owner. It is extremely easy for me to connect with animals without being in their physical presence. Sometimes though, it takes time. All I have to do is wait.
